A well-established and reputable manufacturing company based in Blackheath is offering an excellent career opportunity for a young, motivated Mechanical or Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with 2–5 years of working experience who is eager to develop and grow within a hands-on production environment. The company offers strong growth potential with a clear pathway toward Operations Management for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in improving and streamlining manufacturing and operational processes.
  • Support daily production activities, workflow coordination, and performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to process optimization, continuous improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Analyse data, identify inefficiencies, and propose practical engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including quality, maintenance, and logistics.
  • Participate in implementing new projects, systems, and operational improvements.
  • Provide technical input and support to management and production teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • ND or Bachelor's Degree in
    Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
    (completed qualification).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience
    in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities in
    Afrikaans and English
    (both spoken and written).
  • Valid driver's license
    and reliable transport.
  • Strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Availability to start soon
