Customer care Manager

We're looking for an energetic Customer Care Manager with experience in online lending or financial services in South Africa.

You'll build and lead a motivated customer service team, shape communication standards, and work with the same modern tools and platforms used by international fintech leaders.
You'll also be mentored by a global Head of Customer Operations who supports several countries — giving you real exposure to world-class service practices.
What you'll do
• Lead and motivate your team to deliver fast, high-quality support.
• Optimise chats, WhatsApp, email, and call channels to improve response time and satisfaction.
• Create scripts, FAQs, and training materials to build a consistent customer experience.
• Support and coach your team, providing feedback and helping them grow.
• Track key performance metrics and ensure compliance with local regulations.
What you need
• 3+ years of experience in customer care or call centre management (preferably in fintech or lending).
• Strong leadership and people skills.
• Hands-on experience with digital communication tools and CRMs.
• A customer-first mindset with focus on efficiency and empathy.
• Clear communication, confidence, and excellent organisation skills.
