Our boutique audit firm in Johannesburg is seeking a
driven and detail-oriented Audit Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple audit and assurance engagements across a variety of clients.
  • Maintain strong and proactive client relationships through regular communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments in accordance with ISAs and firm methodology.
  • Review working papers and financial statements prepared under IFRS or other relevant frameworks.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop trainee accountants and audit seniors.
  • Ensure engagement timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Identify technical, operational, and control issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Assist partners with practice management, client proposals, and ad-hoc advisory projects.

Key Requirements

  • CA(SA) qualification (recently qualified or up to 2 years post-articles).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and Companies Act requirements.
  • Effective time management and organisational abilities.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CaseWare and Microsoft Office Suite.
