PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Sales Performance Manager (SPM) in Stellantis is a key leadership role that drives the success of the organization's sales objectives. This role involves managing sales teams, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and ensuring sales targets are achieved.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is often preferred.

  • Sales Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team, demonstrating the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Proficient in developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Proficiency in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the automotive industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills to close deals and maximize profits.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Strong ability to solve problems quickly and effectively, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting and financial planning in a sales context.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort with CRM tools, data analysis software, and other sales-related technology.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive experience in a sales role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience leading a sales team, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in the development and execution of sales strategies that align with business goals.
  • Experience in creating and delivering training programs for sales teams to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Track record of managing key customer relationships and successfully resolving customer issues.
  • Experience with analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and using data to influence sales strategies and decisions.
  • Deep experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable, including knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and set goals and objectives for the sales team. Ensure these strategies align with the company's business goals.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Constantly monitor the sales team's performance, analyze sales data, and create reports for senior management. Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Sales Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs for the sales team to improve their skills and knowledge. Foster a high-performance sales culture.
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets. Analyze market trends and competitor behavior.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development departments to establish effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Resolve any issues or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Performance Management: Evaluate and manage the performance of the sales team. Set individual sales targets, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Sales Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide regular sales performance updates to senior management.
  • Market Understanding: Maintain a deep understanding of the automotive industry, market conditions, and trends. Utilize this knowledge to optimize sales strategies.
  • Leadership: Lead, motivate, and inspire the sales team to achieve their targets. Create an environment that supports teamwork and collaboration.
