Role and responsibility: Senior Designer

This is not a design role that exists in isolation, nor are you stuck in the ice-age of only doing one thing. As a senior designer / creative at LKDA we expect you to do the following, and do it exceptionally well:

  • Work on a variety of projects within multiple disciplines (from brand design, comms design, campaigns, digital applications to the odd interior designs and virtual event).
  • Working with with the Strategist, Portfolio Managers and Writer to unpack, identify and conceptualize ideas based on the brief.
  • Ability to conceptualise, craft and help rollout complete campaigns and projects
  • Preparing concept and presentations with Strategist, Creative Director and other team members.
  • Out-the-box thinking and willing to challenge convention.
  • Execute at the highest quality.
  • Having a sense of humour and the ability to diffuse a stressful day with your unique vaaib / carrying drinks, is always appreciated.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Min 5+ years of hands-on creative design experience in agency environments.
  • Traditional and digital experience essential with proven examples in your portfolio.
  • Strong sense of writing and interpretation of content is an advantage.
  • Strong crafting and illustration skills is also always a win.

Software

  • Exceptional knowledge and capability in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Primary Software: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Supporting software: Adobe XD, Powerpoint.

  • Comprehensive creative portfolio that reflects your best creative and conceptual design skills
  • Detailed CV, working experience and role at previous agencies or design shops.
