We are currently seeking a Temp - Pharm Assistant / Front Shop Cashier to join our team on a temporary basis for a period of 3 months.

Job Summary:

As a Temp - Pharm Assistant / Front Shop Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy and front shop. You will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in dispensing medication, providing excellent customer service to our clients, and managing the front shop cash register.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting the pharmacist in dispensing medication accurately and efficiently

- Providing exceptional customer service to all clients, including answering inquiries and addressing any concerns

- Managing the front shop cash register, processing payments, and issuing receipts

- Maintaining a clean and organized front shop area

- Stocking and replenishing front shop shelves and displays

- Checking and recording expiry dates of products

- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth and efficient operations

- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols

- Other duties as assigned by the pharmacist or management team

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail setting is preferred

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills and proficiency in using a cash register

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and terminology is an asset

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
