As a SAP New Business Development Manager, you will lead strategic enterprise sales across the SAP suite, with an initial focus on SAP HCM and the opportunity to expand into additional SAP modules. This role is dedicated to new business acquisition — driving growth, developing C-suite relationships, and positioning Adapt IT as a trusted partner in digital transformation. Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle for enterprise SAP solutions including SAP HCM, S/4HANA, ERP, SuccessFactors, and Ariba.
- Identify, develop, and close new enterprise business opportunities across diverse industries.
- Lead tender submissions, proposals, and RFP processes to secure high-value contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers, positioning Adapt IT as a strategic partner.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned to growth objectives.
- Collaborate with SAP partners and internal delivery teams to create tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales and revenue targets through disciplined execution and strong client engagement.
Minimum requirements
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in enterprise software or ERP solution sales, ideally within the SAP ecosystem.
- Proven track record of closing multimillion-rand enterprise transformation deals.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HCM and related ERP modules.
- Experience in tender management and complex B2B negotiations.
- Advanced consultative selling, presentation, and closing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is beneficial but not essential. Expertise and results matter most.
