A leading manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and people-focused Plant Manager to lead operations at one of their key production facilities. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with a solid foundation in production, logistics, and labour management, who thrives in dynamic, high-performance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production, logistics, and quality targets are consistently achieved.

  • Lead and manage a large, diverse workforce with a focus on motivation, performance, and accountability.

  • Drive compliance with EE, OSH, SHE, and BCE legislation, maintaining a strong culture of safety and operational excellence.

  • Manage recruitment processes and resolve Industrial Relations (IR) matters effectively and fairly.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting with a strong grasp of financial controls and production cost management.

  • Ensure efficient coordination between departments to optimize workflow and operational output.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years' working experience in a management role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of EE, OSH, SHE, and BCE legislation is essential.

  • In-depth understanding of financial, logistics, and production operations (non-negotiable).

  • Experience in recruitment and handling IR matters.

  • Proven ability to lead and engage large teams effectively.
