We are currently looking for an organized and proactive Stores Person to join our operation and help keep our factory moving smoothly.

Duties & Responsibilities

As our Stores Person, you will be the heartbeat of our inventory management. Your primary focus will be ensuring that our production teams have exactly what they need, when they need it.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Picking Stock for Production: Accurately reading Job Cards and picking the necessary hardware, alu profiles, and any other materials required for specific orders.

  • Digital Inventory Management: capturing all incoming and outgoing stock on our online stock system to ensure real-time accuracy of inventory levels.

  • Receiving Goods: checking all deliveries against delivery notes/invoices for quality and quantity.

  • Stock Control: Conducting regular stock takes and cycle counts to identify variances.

  • Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe storage environment.

  • Dispatch: Assisting with loading / offlaoding of finished goods for powdercoating.

  • Team Work: Work with a team to get the Job done.

Your job will not be limited to the above only. These are the main area's of resposibility.

Desired Experience & Qualification

To be successful in this role, you must be detail-oriented and comfortable working with both physical products ( incl long profiles ) and computer systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a storeman, warehouse, or inventory control role.

  • Computer Literacy: Must be proficient in using computers; specific experience with online stock/inventory management systems is essential.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to read Job Cards and part codes without error 

  • Physical Ability: Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy stock items and standing for extended periods.

  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Reliability: A track record of punctuality and strong work ethic.

Package & Remuneration

  • Basic Salary: R9 000 – R Depending on relevant experience).

  • Target Based Incentives:

    • Q1 & Q2: Potential to earn 20% of salary each quarter.

    • Q3 & Q4: Potential to earn 30% of salary each quarter.

    • Membership to the BIBC (Building Industry Bargaining Council).

    • Includes Annual Bonus and Holiday Pay as per BIBC regulations.
