SUMMARY:
A global company in Cape Town is seeking a Electronic Hardware Engineer (Hi-Speed Digital) to join their team

Market Related Salary | On Site | Cape Town | Permanent
POSITION INFO:

  • B. Eng Electric or Electronic, M. Eng Electric or Electronic or similar
  • Schematic design, PCB design, simulation of circuits, analysis of circuits. (Altium, LT-Spice)
  • Design, simulate and complete PCB design and routing of Power Supplies of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) according to specifications provided by systems engineer
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to LRU power supplies design and performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronic hardware technologies and apply them to projects.
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, DSP, RF and aeronautical teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware LRUs
  • Test and validate power supplies designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (DO-160, MIL-STD-704)
  • Take part in peer reviews of LRUs
