About the Role

Office Beacon South Africa is seeking an experienced
Training Instructor
with
3–5 years of proven expertise
in the training and development space — ideally within the
Insurance, Administrative, or Promotional Products
industries.

In this role, you will design, deliver, and continuously improve impactful learning experiences for our teams. We're looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, highly organized, and thrives in a dynamic, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Develop Training Materials:
    Create engaging training modules, e-learning courses, and resources customized to business and trainee needs.
  • Develop Assessments:
    Build practical assessments to evaluate learning outcomes and measure skill development.
  • Facilitate Training Sessions:
    Plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs, workshops, and webinars (both remote and on-site).
  • Evaluate & Improve Programs:
    Analyze training results, feedback, and performance data to refine learning initiatives.
  • Develop Soft Skills:
    Coach and enhance communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills among learners.
  • Documentation:
    Track training participation, maintain detailed records, and prepare feedback reports for management.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends:
    Keep updated with evolving industry standards and integrate new best practices.
  • Adaptability:
    Be flexible and responsive to changing training priorities and learner needs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:
    3–5 years in a professional training or development role.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical and creative approach to addressing training needs.
  • Virtual Facilitation:
    Confident in leading engaging online sessions, managing group dynamics, and driving participation.
  • Cultural Awareness:
    Skilled at fostering inclusion and adapting training for diverse audiences.
  • Tech Proficiency:
  • Canva
  • Advanced Excel
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • LMS tools (e.g., Udemy, Alison, or similar)
  • Preferred:
    Exposure to the
    Sales
    or
    Promotional Products
    industries.
