A brief overview:

As a Pricing & Data Analyst you'll manage the day-to-day pricing and analytics operations, ensuring timely and accurate insights that support internal teams and maintain service quality. You'll work closely with the Pricing Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate pricing, performance reporting, and data-driven insights that support commercial and product decisions.

This role is hands-on, varied, and ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems with data and wants exposure to both pricing and broader business analytics in a high-growth environment.

What you will do:

Pricing

• Execute new business and renewal pricing using established pricing models.
• Validate, update, and reconcile pricing in insurance summaries sent to underwriting partners.
• Conduct loss ratio analysis for renewals and business reviews, highlighting trends and drivers.
• Support ongoing pricing model improvements and testing.

Data Analytics

• Review claims performance and identify patterns, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Assess marketing campaign performance: acquisition funnel metrics, CAC, conversion rates, and ROI.
• Run member behaviour analysis — product uptake, retention, usage patterns, and customer lifecycle.
• Perform revenue and gross profit analysis across products and distribution channels.
• Model financial and strategic scenarios, including pricing changes and product adjustments.
• Support forecasting and trend analysis to inform planning and growth decisions.
• Create, update, and maintain Looker dashboards for internal teams and external partners.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests across the business and deliver clear insights and recommendations.
• Work with the Pricing Manager to automate reporting, improve data workflows, and refine analytical processes.

You will need:

• 1 - 2 years experience in pricing, financial modelling, data analysis or related analytical (preferably in insurance or financial services).
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Advanced Excel and Looker (or other BI tools) proficiency.
• Understanding of insurance or risk-based pricing.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
