About the Role

We're offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as an Artwork Co-Ordinator. This role provides hands-on experience in artwork coordination, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help coordinate artwork layouts and design approvals.
  • Support the sales team and act as a communication link with customers.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and customer visits.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Requirements

  • Proficient in working on Apple Mac systems.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Illustrator.
  • Solid understanding of Desktop Publishing (DTP) software and processes.
  • Experience or knowledge of Flexo, Litho, and Silk Screen prepress is advantageous.
  • A good general background in the printing industry.
  • Must not be colour blind, as accurate colour recognition is essential for this role.
  • Effective and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to:
  • Prepare electronic files for Litho, Flexographic, and Silk Screen plate production, including step-and-repeat setups.
  • Handle internal printing and publishing requirements.
  • Prepare client artwork for proofing and final production across various closure types.
  • Produce and update customer designs.
  • Interpret and apply technical specifications and client requirements when setting up artwork.
