Job Title: Programme Co‑ordinator & Administration Assistant : Community Health Intervention Programmes (CHIPS) Location: Western Cape, Cape Town, Newlands Employment Type: 12 Months Fixed‑term Contract Remuneration: Market Related / per hour Working Hours: 20 hours per week Job Purpose: As a Programme Co‑ordinator & Administration Assistant you will assist in the maintenance and implementation of the Community Health Intervention Programmes, monitor the programmes at branch level and evaluate the effectiveness of the programmes in consultation with the CHIPs Manager. In addition, you will attend to administrative tasks and will assist in fundraising and marketing strategies to secure the longevity of CHIPs. Qualifications and Experience Essential: Matric / Grade/year relevant experience Key Performance Areas Assist with programmes by: Assist leaders with the implementation of exercise sessions and with challenges that may arise at the branch whilst consulting with the rest of the CHIPs team. Assist with routine fitness testing. Ensure that leaders are following the programme. Ensure that leaders complete necessary administration forms and collate all administration received from branches. Conduct follow‑up visits with the branches allocated by CHIPs manager. Conduct and facilitate programme trainings as the need arises. Monitor the programme at Branch Level: Ensure that records are kept of all participants involved in the programmes. Support leaders and encourage all participants as required. Monitor and provide weekly feedback regarding the progress of the programmes to CHIPs team members. Evaluate the effectiveness of the programmes in terms of: Participant involvement. Leader's ability to implement sessions. Developments in and between branches. Participant's health (mental, physical and social) progress. Co‑ordinate Education & Training for Leaders: Organise and conduct education training programmes and workshops for the new leaders and for on‑going education. Organise theory and practical sessions. Update the content of the training manuals in consultation with the CHIPs manager and ESSM. Update member information forms in consultation with CHIPs Manager. Assist in the induction and training of new CHIPs staff. Other duties: Attend project meetings on Friday mornings or as advised. Oversee the maintenance of all CHIPs social media platforms. Assist in the planning and implementation of events.
