The
Country Manager – South Africa
plays a regional leadership role focused on establishing and expanding TradeQuo's operations and market presence within the country. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with deep knowledge of the South African forex and financial services market, an established local network, and a strong understanding of regulatory and commercial dynamics. This position requires a blend of strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
:
• Lead Market Entry & Growth Strategy:
Develop and execute TradeQuo's market penetration and growth strategy for South Africa, aligned with the company's global objectives.
• Build & Lead Regional Sales Team
: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing local sales team to deliver measurable results
.
• Establish Strategic Partnerships:
Identify and cultivate relationships with key local partners, brokers, affiliates, and financial institutions to drive expansion and revenue growth
.
• Drive Revenue & Sales Performance
: Meet and exceed sales targets through effective client acquisition, retention, and tailored trading solutions.
• Ensure Compliance & Market Alignment:
Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards. Partner with global teams in marketing, product, and customer experience to ensure local strategy execution and consistent brand alignment.
• Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and client needs to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
• Industry Network:
Established relationships within the South African forex, financial trading, or fintech sectors.
• Leadership Skills:
Proven experience managing or building sales teams and scaling operations in a fast-paced environment
.
• Strategic & Commercial Acumen:
Strong business judgment, negotiation ability, and commercial mindset.
• Self-Starter:
Highly results-oriented and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
