The Role

We're looking for a Johannesburg-based Account Manager to manage and grow agency relationships in South Africa, driving adoption of Pulse's exclusive experiences across top social platforms.

This is an active hunter role, ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with agencies, solving problems creatively, and guiding clients through complex social experiences with confidence.

You'll have full support from our Sales Enablement and Product teams, helping you pitch, brainstorm, and deliver campaigns that outperform standard media benchmarks.

What You'll Do

• Grow Pulse's footprint with agencies across South Africa through consistent outreach, relationship building, and value-driven selling.
• Partner with agencies to craft experiences that extend social platform formats and achieve measurable brand impact.
• Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team on proposal creation, creative ideation, and campaign strategies.
• Use synthetic audience testing pre-campaign to validate ideas and ensure relevance before spend is committed.
• Educate clients on Conversion API integrations and how Pulse's experiences lift performance.
• Manage campaigns end-to-end, from concept through delivery and post-campaign uplift study analysis.
• Present results that prove brand impact: recall, favourability, and consideration uplift.Stay current on platform evolutions, new APIs, and emerging creative trends on TikTok, Meta, and beyond.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in digital sales, preferably with agencies or social media platforms.
• Deep understanding of social ad products, campaign objectives, and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of the South African agency landscape and comfort navigating it independently.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills; able to make technical topics clear and persuasive.
• Experience with Meta, TikTok, or other social APIs is a plus.
• Excellent sales hygiene, CRM discipline, and follow-through.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive, hunter mentality.
• Passion for innovation in the social space and measurable brand impact.
