Position Overview:

The Accommodation Manager role at Rickety Bridge Wine Estate forms an integral part of the senior management team.

This position carries the full responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the estate's hospitality accommodations, ensuring a seamless guest experience and operational excellence.

As a key contributor to both business performance and client satisfaction, the Accommodation Manager plays a vital role in driving repeat business, guest satisfaction and supporting the teams who report into the position. They will uphold the estate's high standards of cleanliness, room and public space presentation, and fostering an atmosphere of warmth and authenticity that reflects the Rickety Bridge culture and values. They will take all measures to ensure that cost saving is done in line with the business revenue objectives and put into place measures that control stock, costs and generate revenue within all departments of the hotel by cross selling.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Certification in Hospitality Management or Accommodation Management.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accommodation management, preferably in a luxury or high-end establishment.

Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.

Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a must.

· Labor Law: Understanding employment contracts, worker rights, and dispute resolution.

· Environmental, Health and Safety: Familiarity with environmental protection laws, workplace safety standards, and health regulations.

· Social Responsibility: Awareness of corporate social responsibility initiatives and community engagement.

· Quality Assurance: Knowledge of quality management systems and standards.

· Acceptable Attire, Public Discipline, and Confidentiality at all times.

· Understanding of food and beverage operations to ensure the cuisine offering is in line with the standards of the estate.

· Ability to manage multiple departments and teams effectively.

· Strong organizational and planning skills.

· Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.

· Ability to innovate and improve guest services.

· Strong problem-solving abilities to address any challenges or issues that arise.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, such as fluctuations in customer traffic, seasonal variations in product availability, or evolving industry trends.
