3d Modeller/Animator Intern

We are looking for a talented and creative 3D Modeller to join our team. As a 3D Modeler, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models for various applications, including video games, animations, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), product design, and more. You will work closely with designers, artists, and developers to bring concepts to life through detailed 3D assets, ensuring they meet project specifications and maintain artistic integrity.

Experience:

• Proven experience in 3D modelling with a portfolio showcasing your work (characters, environments, props).
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of texturing workflows, including UV unwrapping, bump/normal mapping, and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) techniques.
• Experience in modelling for real-time applications such as video games or VR/AR environments is a plus.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail, ensuring that all models are highly polished and meet the artistic and technical standards of the project.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges related to model optimization, performance, and integration into the larger project pipeline.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with artists, developers, and other team members.
• 3D Modelling Techniques: Strong understanding of 3D modelling principles and techniques, including topology, polygonal modelling, and sculpting.
• Texturing and Shading: Ability to create realistic and stylized textures using tools such as Photoshop, Substance Painter, or Mari.
• Rigging & Animation: Experience with rigging and skinning models for animation.
• Sculpting: Experience with digital sculpting tools like ZBrush or Mudbox for creating high-detail models.
• Game Engines: Familiarity with game engines like Unity3D, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms to integrate 3D assets.
• 3D Animation: Basic understanding of 3D animation principles, including character rigging, facial animation, and object movement.
• Virtual Reality (VR) / Augmented Reality (AR): Experience creating 3D assets for VR/AR applications, ensuring models are optimized for performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D Modelling: Create accurate, detailed, and optimized 3D models for characters, environments, props, and other assets based on concepts, references, and project requirements.
• Texturing & Materials: Apply textures, UV maps, and materials to 3D models to enhance their realism and visual appeal. Use tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar for texturing.
• Asset Optimization: Optimize models for performance across various platforms, ensuring that 3D assets perform well in real-time applications like video games or interactive VR/AR environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design team, animators, and developers to ensure 3D models integrate smoothly into the project pipeline, adhering to technical requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Review and refine 3D assets to ensure they meet the project's visual standards and technical constraints.
• Feedback Incorporation: Iterate on designs based on feedback from senior artists, producers, or directors to ensure the final 3D models meet the artistic vision and project goals.
• Tool Development: Develop and maintain reusable assets and tools to streamline the modelling process.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Art, Animation, Game Design, Computer Graphics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
