Job Purpose:
To safely and efficiently deliver and collect parcels and freight using Code 08 or Code 10 licenses. Drivers will ensure timely deliveries, maintain excellent customer service, and adhere to all safety and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive company vehicles according to assigned schedules and routes.
  • Deliver and collect parcels and freight punctually and safely.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or damage.
  • Complete all required delivery documentation accurately.
  • Adhere strictly to road traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
  • Assist with loading and unloading parcels when necessary.
  • Report any delivery issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
  • Uphold excellent customer service standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Valid Code 08 or Code 10 Driver's License with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
  • Minimum 2 years driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Good knowledge of road networks and GPS navigation
  • Physically fit to handle parcels and vehicle operation
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
