Key Responsibilities

  • Production Support: Assist in the food production process by following daily work schedules and adhering to safety protocols. This includes operating machinery, packing products, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
  • Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks within the factory, including refuse removal and cleaning of equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Packing Operations: Pack finished products into boxes or onto pallets, ensuring that they are securely wrapped and moved to designated areas for storage or distribution.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of equipment used during production, reporting any malfunctions or issues to supervisors immediately. Minor troubleshooting may also be required.
  • Quality Control: Monitor product quality during production runs, ensuring adherence to specifications and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to production activities, including quantities produced, materials used, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets while contributing positively to the workplace environment.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and following proper food handling procedures.
  • Shift Work Flexibility: Be prepared to work shifts as needed, which may include weekends or holidays depending on production demands.

Working Conditions

  • The position typically requires working full-time hours within a warehouse setting.
  • Physical demands may include lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jack or forklifts (if licensed).
