**Farm Manager Job Opportunity**

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain regular communication and collaboration with the company owner.
- Oversee human resources, including farm workers and casual labour.
- Manage all farm operations efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Matric Certificate.
- Relevant agricultural qualification (advantageous).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Farm Manager.
- Experience in managing irrigation systems.
- Proven leadership and managerial abilities, including team motivation and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans with strong communication skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, internet, and Outlook).
- Experience in farm management and agricultural operations.

**Duties**:

- Manage the maintenance of farm vehicles, tractors, and equipment.
- Supervise farm operations and ensure the upkeep of buildings, fences, and general hygiene.
- Manage staff attendance, time schedules, and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain detailed records of farm activities, including pest control, orchard maintenance, harvesting, and production.
- Prepare regular reports on operational activities and farm performance.
- Manage cattle, almond, and grass irrigation systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and development of farm lodges, vehicles, tractors, and equipment.
- Ensure general farm maintenance and development.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paarl, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Language**:

- Afrikaans and English (required)

License/Certification:
