DataEQ uses social media and other customer feedback data to help our clients (large enterprise brands) generate better CX insights, manage risk, improve conduct reporting and optimise social customer service. ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Account Director, you'll report to the Head of Client Service and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of our largest clients across industries like fi nancial services, telecoms, and retail. You'll operate independently, managing your client accounts end-to-end, from onboarding to upselling, with a focus on retention, growth, and value delivery.
Your ultimate goal? Ensuring clients understand and use our data to drive better business decisions. You'll be a trusted advisor, helping clients unlock insights, improve performance, and get the most out of our tools and services.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY
Client Retention & Growth
- Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise clients
- Drive renewals and manage RFP/RFQ processes where relevant
- Build and nurture relationships across multiple levels of each client organisation
- Identify key business problems and position DataEQ's solutions accordingly
- Ensure broad and deep usage of our data across client teams and decision-makers
- Develop and execute upsell strategies with clear growth targets
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Act as the main point of contact for all client queries
- Help clients extract value from our data through insights, dashboards, training, or product support
- Work with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and accurate, impactful reporting
- Brief analysts, review outputs, and manage client feedback and change requests
Team & Internal Collaboration
- Manage and mentor Account Managers (where applicable), including onboarding, goal-setting, and development
- Set and track client forecasts, KPIs, and upsell plans across your team's portfolio
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals
- Support the finance team with billing and payment resolution
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A tertiary qualification
- 5+ years experience in a senior client service role
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential, and you'd need to be comfortable learning and navigating new web-based software applications
- Analytical problem solving and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills in writing and in person
- The ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, performance-orientated environment
- A curious, always learning personality

- Target-driven, determined and energetic
