Hello, future Data Manager

We are seeking an experienced Data Manager to lead a dynamic team of Data Engineers and BI Developers. This role will be responsible for defining and managing the roadmap for Data solutions, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring effective data engineering/BI practices using tools such as MS BI Stack, Azure, Python, etc. As a Data Manager you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of data solutions within your team that meet business objectives through sound understanding of business unit requirements and frequent collaboration with relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in End-to-End Data Solutions, and leading data teams to deliver high-quality and trusted data assets across the organization as set out by the Head of Data.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Qualification - Have a relevant Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Preferred Qualification - Honours Degree or Masters
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Senior to advanced experience within Data engineering & Analytics.
  • Relevant experience with Python, Pyspark, Data pipelines will be preferred.
  • Experience with ML Frameworks will be advantageous.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, SQL, SAS, Python, or related technologies will be preferred.
