Quest is an award-winning IT management software provider offering a broad selection of solutions that solve some of the most common and most challenging IT problems.
Technical Sales Engineer will work as part of a broader team of Sales Engineers across assigned region supporting the growth in the assigned territory and providing an overlay of support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver technical product demonstrations, presentations and designs and support
- Participate in consultations and/or product capability assessments with prospects
- Create formal relationships with key decision makers and serve as the external spokesperson for the company
- Work on issues that impact design/selling success or address proof of concepts, products or technologies
- Provide a role within the sales teams in assessing potential application of the company products to meet customer's business needs
- Drive the sales process in partnership with the Sales Team
- Gather technical requirements from customers, align to internal solutions and manage both technical and competitive objections
- Influence and contribute to sales opportunities beyond own territory assignment
- Work collaboratively with internal technical and sales resources, share best practices, updates, offer and seek expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales and Marketing or any other related field.

- Data Governance & Stewardship
- Data Lineage & Impact Analysis
- Business Glossary Integration

- Integration with data catalog and ETL tools
