We are a UAV company based in Cape Town, South Africa. We design and produce UAVs, such as quadcopters, and VTOL fixed wings for military and commercial use. We have been in operation for 10 years and we are rapidly expanding.

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Analysing and interpreting data contained in the organisation along with evaluating historical trends and current conditions
- Conduct advances analytics to identify opportunities and strengths to support the organisation
- Defining the business requirements for the business intelligence solutions
- Work directly with business users to help solve specific business problems using the data contained in the business intelligence solution
- Create and present data visualisations that inform and engage business partners on key metrics and performance measures
- Initiate budget forecast, analysis, variance reports and generate ad-hoc reports that provide clarity and insights to end users
- Design and build technical processes to address business issues

Experience and Requirements:

- Minimum 3+ years of in data visualisation and analytics, working with businesses to shape and implement BI strategies, improve operational functions, efficiencies, and ultimate performance
- BS or MS in computer science or information systems
- Professional in data visualisation and storytelling
- Ability to understand implement complex DAX calculations
- Experience of data mining and ability to sift through large amounts of data to find emerging patterns
- Detail oriented, very organised, and able to perform job duties with mínimal supervision
- Previous experience working with power BI in engineering environment
- Experience of data warehousing and data modelling
- Experience of engaging with end users to design, configure and support Power BI reports
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel, Power BI tools such as Tablue and Power BI and open-source libraries, data visualisation
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines.

- Salary: R400 000 - R650 000
- Hybrid position
- Own Car essential
- Permanent role with a 3 months’ probation period.
- Background check and references required

**Salary**: R400,000.00 - R650,000.00 per year
