**CREDITORS CONTROLLER**

**ELITE TRUCK HIRE HEAD OFFICE - SPARTAN KEMPTON PARK**

**REPORTS TO CREDITORS MANAGER**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
- To effectively pay and manage company creditors and ensure timeous payments

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Processing & verification of supplier invoices as per company policy.
- Reconciling of Creditors account statements against accounts payable/age analysis
- (purchase ledger) to ensure accuracy.
- Purchase order variances and outstanding items.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet all required deadlines non-negotiable.
- Strong relationship building with Branch Managers & Heads of Departments to ensure relevant paperwork has correct authorisation as per company policy.
- To facilitate payments of documentation captured as and when required.
- Allocation of daily, weekly & monthly payments made by Creditors department.
- Processing of accruals monthly to ensure accuracy of expenses.
- Ability to handle and resolve creditor related queries and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions regarding supplier accounts concerning any outstanding or incorrect goods/services issued/charged to the company.
- Maintain and control paperwork on ERP - Scanning and uploading relevant documents as well as maintaining an organized filing system.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE**
- Matric pre-requisite
- Accounting Certificate (preferred) or studying towards
- Computer System knowledge: HANSAWORLD (Advantageous)
- 3-5 years’ work experience in Creditors department
- Ability to work independently and good customer service
- Energetic, innovative proactive thinker
- High level of flexibility and adaptability
- Computer proficiency
- MS Excel - Intermediate
- Must be willing to work flexible hours when required.
