**Job Title**: Water Treatment Technician

**Reports to**: Operations Director

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Plant Construction and Maintenance:

- Build and assemble small to medium-sized water treatment plants, including Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultrafiltration (UF), and softening systems.
- Install and commission water treatment equipment, piping, valves, and related components.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on water treatment systems to ensure efficient operation.

**Chemical Services**:

- Perform chemical dosing for water treatment plants, including the use of flocculants, coagulants, softening agents, and anti-scalants.
- Monitor and adjust chemical dosing rates to optimize system performance and water quality.
- Safely handle, store, and transport water treatment chemicals in compliance with safety standards.

**On-Site Water Analysis and Reporting**:

- Conduct regular on-site water quality analysis, including pH, TDS, turbidity, hardness, and other relevant parameters.
- Maintain accurate records of water quality data, plant performance metrics, and chemical usage.
- Prepare detailed reports on water treatment plant performance and submit recommendations for system improvements or adjustments.

**Health, Safety, and Compliance**:

- Ensure that all water treatment activities are carried out in compliance with environmental regulations and company health and safety policies.
- Participate in safety training programs and adhere to best practices in chemical handling and plant operations.

**Customer Support**:

- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on water treatment solutions and system operation.
- Train and supervise junior staff or operators when required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or technical certification in Water Treatment, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building and maintaining water treatment plants.
- Knowledge of water treatment processes, chemical dosing, and equipment operation.
- Experience in on-site water analysis and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using water analysis tools and equipment.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to water treatment and chemical handling

**Experience**:

- Water treatment: 1 year (preferred)
