**Senior Imports and Exports Coordinator**

**Experience**:Minimum 8 years in Imports and Exports

**Key Responsibilities**:
Imports Forwarding and Clearing:

- Obtain new Purchase Orders (POs) approval from the client.
- Book with the origin agent and update the status report, ensuring pre-alert.
- Register the file and submit the Required Customs Goods (RCG).
- Obtain clearing documents, arrival notice, and charges.
- Send the file for clearance and arrange for cartage.
- Verify and quality check the invoice.
- Issue landed costing and send the invoice, costing, and custom release documents to the client.

Import Handover/Freehand:

- Send pre-alert to the consignee’s clearing agent.
- Send arrival notice and handover charges.
- Obtain original House Bill of Lading (HBL)/telex and proof of payment.
- Send Delivery Order (DRO)/release letter.

Export Sea:

- Arrange booking with the shipping line and co-loader.
- Update the supplier on stack dates and provisional packing dates.
- Coordinate depot release, packing, cargo collection, and delivery based on Incoterms.
- Pre-advise and submit shipping instructions.
- Register the file and issue House Bill of Lading (HBL).
- Send the file for clearance and release to the shipping line to obtain the final Master Bill of Lading (MBL).
- Invoice the file and send pre-alert to relevant parties.

Estimates:

- Arrange required estimates for imports and exports for air and sea freight.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Confirm flight bookings with overseas agents on all collected shipments.
- Communicate and share flight bookings and pre-alert documents with the consignee.
- Thoroughly double-check pre-alert documents to ensure compliance with Customs & Excise Act laws.
- Monitor online track and trace prior to flight arrival.
- Register all open files and submit to the Entry clerk for SAD500 framing and EDI to Customs.
- Monitor Customs EDI status and resolve any queries, stops, or detentions.
- Generate delivery notes and communicate with the warehouse transport team.
- Monitor deliveries, delivery notes, and process invoicing for all shipments.
- Update in-house records on all delivered and invoiced imports shipments.
- Resolve air imports queries, including estimation, damage, and loss in transit.
- Process cross-trade shipments, air to road, and air to air in accordance with customs and excise procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Imports and Exports coordination.
- Strong knowledge of Customs & Excise Act laws.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R60,000.00 per month
