**Qualifications**:
Essential:
- A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
- A relevant degree in computer systems design, computer science, information systems or HR (with the requisite technical and management experience)
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
Knowledge
Essential:
- Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining HRIS systems
- Advanced knowledge of PMBOK / PRINCE II project management principles
- Ability to compile quantitative and qualitative information for HR metrics, analysis, and reporting
- MS Excel power-user
- Advanced knowledge of sensitive data security principles within the HR & payroll environment
- Advanced Data Analytics (BI) knowledge
Working knowledge of:
- The HR compliance environments in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland (Including but not limited Employees Tax, Personal Data Protection, Employment Equity & SETA requirements)
- Product and software lifecycle management, product SDLC & Change Control governance principles
- Fit for purpose system integration in a non-ERP environment
Advantageous:
- Working knowledge of the Agile principles
**Skills**:
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences, and vice versa
- The ability to be resilient, have tenacity and maintain high levels of drive and initiative under pressure
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at once
- Presentation / facilitation skills
- Excellent systematic, logical & strategic thinking skills
- Strong customer-service orientation and networking skills (cross functionally)
- Ability to conduct total cost of ownership studies and project proposals
- Understanding the impact of POPIA on how HR data is stored and disseminated systems
Experience
Essential:
- Management experience in a HR systems role
- Experience with HR Data reporting
Preferred:
- Retail experience
- Proven experience in the optimisation of Business processes
- Training and change management experience [due to the HR Helpdesk responsibilities
