Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of conveyor belt solutions to the mining and bulk material handling industries.
- Assist with mechanical design, develop, test, and manufacture devices, tools, and machines
- Milling and turning of parts
- Develop, manufacture and assemble mechanical parts for industrial machinery and equipment
- Maintenance of CNC machines, presses, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Schedule maintenance, mechanical system, carry out minor and major repairs.
- Keeping records of operations and maintenance procedures.
- Time management
- Diagnosing and repairing faults with tools and machinery and performing regular maintenance.
- Operating specialised tools and machinery.
- Assembling fabricated parts to produce tools and machines.
- Following safety protocols.
- Measuring and marking out materials for fabrication.
- Setting up tools and machinery for fabrication process.
- Monitoring fabrication process and adjusting settings when necessary.
- Perform fault finding on machinery
- Maintain standards in the plant and adhere to all safety rules and procedures
- Maintain production machines, electrically/mechanically driven machines, (preventative maintenance schedule)
- React to breakdowns expediently

**Qualifications**:

- N5 or N6 in Mechanical or Electrical with Mathematics

**Skills**:

- Basic CNC programming G-Code
- Electric & Electronic control systems
- Mechanical equipment automation

**Salary / Package**:
Negotiable (depending on experience)
