**Job Summary**
- Position is for a Jnr Security Operations Manager/ CPO
- Responsibilities include all aspects of Operational Security Management.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

1.Responsibilities include enforcement of Company and Client Security Procedures.
2. Visits and inspections to Client sites.
3. Inspections of security officers and company equipment.
4. Investigating of Client Complaints and submitting of reports.
5. Onsite Training of security officers as per job descriptions.
6. Inspections of Company vehicles.
7. After hours visits to Client sites.
8. Compile proposals and reports.
9. Ability to compile budgets and track expenses.
10. Ability to compile presentations.

11. Close Protection Officer Duties:

- Assessing potential security risks and developing contingency plans.
- Conducting thorough security checks of premises and vehicles.
- Providing discrete surveillance and close protection during the client’s daily activities.
- Collaborating with other security personnel to provide coordinated protection.
- Conducting risk assessments and threat analysis to anticipate and mitigate potential dangers.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive security plans for assigned clients.
- Providing close proximity protection to VIPs during travel, public appearances, and other events.
- Ensuring safety of principal and family members, responding to medical emergencies, and maintaining security of household and vehicles

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Psira grade A and B
- Valid driver’s licence
- Previous experience in similar position
- Needs very good communication skills
- Sober habits
- Clean and presentable
- Traceable references
- Own reliable vehicle, for reporting on/off duty when not on standby.
- Prepared to work sometimes long hours and weekends when required.
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in MS suit especially MS word and excel
- Great problem-solving capabilities
- Ability and familiarity with sage accounting
- CCTV knowledge a plus

**Experience**:

- Operational Security Management/ CPO : 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Afrikaans and English (preferred)

**License/Certification**:

- PSIRA Grade A or B, firearm competency (required)
- Psira certification (required)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
