**QA ANALYST**

Job Description.

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Generate test plans/cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Execute business cycle test cases against requirements
- Review Creative, Data & Functional specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
- Understanding of all Business requirements to create Data Scenarios & Test Packs
- Execute manual tests
- Execute data tests
- Communicate with stakeholders (written and verbal)
- Ability to think abstractly - outside the box of potential issues that could potentially happen
- Use your knowledge and experience to anticipate areas of particular risk in the system, and prioritize testing to find important defects early
- Work closely with QA Team lead, project managers and developers to communicate planned testing, testing progress, and status of the project
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes using JIRA
- Contribute to test group processes and standards

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related technical field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in a Manual software testing / quality assurance role
- Excellent knowledge of quality theory, concepts, tools, and methodologies of QA
- Demonstrate knowledge of Software test/release process. Thorough understanding of testing methodologies
- Experience with defect management software and procedures
- Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies from project definition to post-deployment documentation cycles
- Understanding of HTML, XML and JavaScript
- Financial Sector experience preferred

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Occasional overtime/weekend work might require.
- Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
