**The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following duties**:

- **Performing operational audits, recommends corrective actions, and convinces internal stakeholders of the legitimacy of his/her recommendations**
***:

- **Identifying Best Practices during the audit phase**
***:

- **Identifying accounting process inefficiencies and suggests improvements**
***:

- **Identifying shortcomings in business and makes recommendations**
***:

- **Participating in the annual internal audit planning process**
***:

- **Understanding the key concepts of risk management (identification, assessment including frameworks, mitigation)**
***:

- **Identifying basic business risks**
***:

- **Identifying inconsistency in basic internal controls (e.g.: accountability)**
***:

- **Understanding the internal systems and processes**
***:

- **Understanding and using properly the standard functionalities of systems required in his/her working area**
***:

- **Understanding and complying with processes and workflows of his/her working area**
***:

- **Mastering advanced functionalities of systems and understands their capabilities & interactions**
***:

- **Analysing systems, workflows and processes current capabilities and identifies opportunities for their improvement (speed and quality)**
***:

- **Explaining and training colleagues on how to use systems and follow processes**
***:

- **Networking with co-users of systems and processes to identify and share best practices**
***

- **BCom Finance**
***:

- **5 years’ experience in auditing**
