15 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably currently having the same role (GM) in a Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office4

Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Proven financial acumen.

Experience in managing continuous improvement projects.

Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

**Description**

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations. Key areas are Sales, Production and Finance.

The GM is a generalist who is familiar with all areas of the business and can coordinate processes and operations across the organization. A General Manager usually must speak the languages of Finance and Accounting, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Research and Development, and Engineering.

The GM develops and nurtures a dynamic and competent workforce through a robust performance-driven culture. Enforces all company policies and procedures

**Strategy**

Communicate strategy and results to the unit's employees.

Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives. Managing the performance of each department within the region.

Constantly assesses the facility’s operational efficiencies and seeks out opportunities to improve processes in an economic manner.

**Production**

Understands the technical aspects of Production so as to provide support to staff.

Ensure the overall delivery and quality of Production.

**Finance**

Creating business plans to support the company’s financial objectives.

Reports on financial objectives, targets and budgets.

**Sales**

Supporting sales teams in retention of existing customers.

Anticipate customer needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Drives standardization practices throughout the organization that align with other branches.

**Quality and Safety**

Ensures that quality standards are understood and meet acceptable limits in the manufacturing, installation and distribution process. Assures that policies and documentation are current and facility is compliant with customer audit requirements.

Ensures that safety standards and procedures are understood, implemented and maintained onsite and offsite by subcontractors.

**Staff**

Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.

Oversees the hiring and training of Staff.

Works with Human Resources to seek out ways to motivate and develop employees.

**General**

Attends meetings as required by the Board or company structure.

Performs other duties as assigned

Pay: R50,000.00 - R70,000.00 per month
