** Senior Generator Technician **

Top Backup Generator Systems firm seeks Senior Generator Technician. To install and maintain industrial generator systems.

Non-Negotiables (We will check):

- BEE: Indian, Coloured or African. Under 55.
- 3 years Industrial Generator Systems
- 3 years Generator Mechanical Maintenance - Diesel Engines
- 3 years Generator Electrical Maintenance & Installations
- 3 years Deep Sea Controllers
- Results Orientated
- Take Accountability Person

What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the Backup Generator Systems sector. All duties would take place in this context.
- Generator Installations
- Generator Servicing
- Generator Mechanical Repairs incl. Diesel Engines
- Electrical - Transfer Switch replacement (100A-800A), Control Panels, Electrical Cabling (16mm to 120mm), Motorised Breakers (ABB, HAGAR, MERLIN GERIN etc...)
- Programming Deep Sea Controllers

Key Job Deliverables:

- Perform accurate and neat installations
- Ensure repairs are completed speedily without comebacks
- Ensure strong relationships with customers

Qualifications & Background work experience:

- Pref: N3 or Diploma Electrical or equivalent
- An understanding of Industrial Generator systems and how to install and maintain them
- Mechanical maintenance such as engine services, parts replacements and restoring to smooth running order
- Maintenance and installation of generator electrical including wiring, switchgear and motorised breakers
- Programming Deep Sea Controllers on site, restoring old programs
- Advantageous: Wireman's License
