**POSITION OVERVIEW**

**CHARACTERISTICS**:
**Requirements and Experience**:

- Grade 12 but BCom degree or degree in logistics management will be an advantage
- Advanced Excel & MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in SAP will be an advantage
- 2-3 years experience in analysis of data/ setting up and writing reports/forecasting
- Experience in the retail environment
- Experience in the cosmetic industry will be an advantage

- **Strong communicator**: Build and maintain strong relationships with Sisley Paris teams, local head office and sales team, Logistics provider (PDS), retailers and any other key service providers. Work with the Sisley international logistics team to achieve our local objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Logistics**: To be a key resource to the Sisley team; enabling the execution of the Sisley strategy within South Africa through the management of POSM and stocks. To effectively manage the inventory of saleable and non-saleable items in the warehouse & in stores, ensuring optimum stock levels of all sku’s, minimizing discontinued stock and overstocks/out-of-stocks.
- **Sales**: Set up and update reports and analysis of sales weekly and monthly and implementing the learnings to assist the team to implement findings in key brand and product demand strategies. Highlight key sales and stock concerns to the GM and sales manager to ensure proactivity on sales and stock.

**SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to**:
**LOGISTICS**:

- Ordering of basic stock and testers/posm from Paris and forecasting/maintaining of stock levels (basic stock, POSM, samples and testers, PR stock and other) in warehouse and stores and tracking inbound orders from Paris and outbound orders to stores.
- Tracking of all international orders from Paris for POSM, Pre-series, launches, new counter builds, stock and testers to be receipted into the CT warehouse.
- Management of shipping invoices - checking order vs receipt to ensure what was shipped from Paris was indeed receipted in the PCG warehouse.
- Liaise and negotiate with retailers on orders to ensure in time placement and track retail orders to stores from inception to confirmed receipt in stores.
- Ensure that all key POSM, launches, pre-series, samples and PR materials are distributed accordingly either to stores, Sisley office or any other venue required.
- Proactively advise the marketing and sales department on current stock of re-launches or discontinuations to ensure management of campaigns to minimise write off stock
- Manage the PR and non-saleable marketing inventory with the Marketing, Training and PR Team.
- Inventory management to ensure the brand stock levels are in line with requirements and to minimise cost on warehouse space due to overstocks. Monitor all stock in house to ensure the correct stock at the correct levels (ABC sku analysis) and formulate strategies to balance where realignment is needed.
- Manage inter store transfers. Key contact point for Sisley sales and head office team for inter-store transfers of stock, order and shipment to stores queries.
