An opportunity for a Receptionist has become available within the Head Office environment. As the successful incumbent, you will be the first point of contact for the company and you will need to provide administrative support across the organisation. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Attending to visitors and dealing with enquiries, whether telephonically or in person, would be one of the main focusses of your role.
**Key Responsibilities**: - Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed and relay messages when required;
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as typing, filing, photocopying, collating information, faxing, etc. as and when required for various departments;
- Receive, sign and distribute all parcels, mail and garments delivered on a daily basis;
- Deliver urgent samples when necessary;
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing garments are placed on the correct rail;
- Ensure all mail is filed alphabetically;
- Inform relevant merchandise team members when suppliers arrive for meetings/fitting sessions;
- Keep supplier details and update when necessary;
- Book meeting rooms for suppliers and Buyers electronically.
**Qualifications and Experience**: - Matric certificate (minimum requirement);
- Proven working experience in a similar role;
- Professional/well-groomed appearance;
- Solid communication skills - Both written and verbal.
