An opportunity exists for a Head of Fixed Income to work within a growing financial services organisation. The role requires an individual with experience in research and analysis of fixed income securities, an excellent track record managing fixed income or multi-asset portfolios, and a track record in building a franchise/business or capability.

An opportunity exists for a Head of Fixed Income to work within a growing financial services organisation. The role requires an individual with experience in research and analysis of fixed income securities, an excellent track record managing fixed income or multi-asset portfolios, and a track record in building a franchise/business or capability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the Fixed Income team
- Portfolio management
- Drive client-first mindset across the team, and play a crucial role in client engagement, sales and marketing
- Fixed income investment performance
- Growth of the fixed income franchise
- Facilitate growth and development of fixed income team members

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 8-10-years minimum industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in suitable field such as finance, economics, accounting, statistics, engineering plus CFA or suitable post-graduate qualification
- Alignment on investment philosophy (long term, bottom-up, independent thinking)
- Experience in research and analysis of fixed income securities
- Strong knowledge of fixed income markets, instruments, and investment strategies
- Evidence of successfully working in and managing high performance teams advantageous
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good working reputation with strong industry relationships
- Good inter-personal skills
- Willing to lead from the front (including willingness to do research if required)
- Global fixed income experience a plus
- Property and / or equity-related experience a plus
- Familiarity with legal documentation such as DMTN programmes and bond prospectuses
- Cultural fit
