**Background**:
The Digital Engagement Coordinator is responsible for ensuring WWF’s website and associated digital platforms are up to date, optimised, and performing at a high level. This role focuses on website content management, design, and optimisation informed by a data-led approach (60%), requiring a high level of technical competency. Additionally, the coordinator will support digital engagement initiatives (40%) through cross-platform user journeys that drive web traffic, grow WWF’s supporter base, and nurture supporters to deeper engagement with the brand. Key professional development areas in this role include digital marketing automation, CRM, and online engagement strategies.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Relevant qualifications in communications, marketing, design, media, web development, or related fields.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in website management, digital content creation, or online marketing.
- Advanced experience working with content management systems (CMS), with adaptability to learn new platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO and user experience best practices, supported by proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager) to track performance and optimise content.
- Skilled in web content creation, with the ability to craft compelling headlines and CTAs, and maintain WWF’s tone of voice.
- High competency in digital content management, including optimisation, basic HTML/CSS, and image/video editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva).Experience with, or willingness to rapidly develop expertise in, digital marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot specifically) for targeted audience segmentation.
- Ability to interpret data insights to inform and improve digital performance and engagement strategies.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and spoken English - other languages are an advantage.
- A team player who collaborates well with cross-functional teams and is open to testing, learning and iterating content quickly.
- Quick to learn and adapt to new digital tools and technologies.
- A keen interest in conservation and environmental issues.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- **Website Content Management, Design & Optimisation (60%)**
- Maintain, update, and optimise WWF’s core website, campaign landing pages and associated platforms (e.g., Earth Hour, Journey of Water) to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Manage and implement website content updates, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and visual presentation.
- Continuously refine web content using SEO insights, A/B testing and performance analytics to enhance user engagement and search visibility.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure content aligns with WWF’s communication, environmental, and fundraising goals.

- Enhance website performance through SEO best practices, usability improvements, and responsive design implementation.
- Oversee website analytics and user feedback to inform strategic content decisions.
- Act as the primary advocate and expert for WWF’s website CMS, providing training and support where necessary.
- Collaborate with WWF International’s Digital and Tech teams to align on global best practices and innovations.

- Work closely with the social media officer to amplify website content across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with engagement and conversion objectives.
