Requisition ID: 31389- Job Location(s): Johannesburg, ZADanfoss is looking for an enthusiastic HR Specialist on a part-time, fixed-term contract basis who is ready to take on new opportunities. The HR Specialist provides HR support to the HR Manager, leaders and employees creating an engaged and productive workforce through Danfoss' policies, programs and practices.

This position will provide direct support for: recruiting and on-boarding, payroll administration, company sponsored events, compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, benefits administration, leave management, employee education and training, HR auditing and reporting.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Payroll administration
- Supporting the Recruitment, Industrial Relations, Performance management, Training and other HR related processes and initiatives
- Supporting and preparation of all HR related documents
- Maintaining company policies and procedures and ensuring that these are updated and communicated to staff at all times
- Responsible for ‘taking action’ and enabling leaders to be compliant with Danfoss People Management Processes and standards to ensure high performance.
- Initiate and lead activities that help to increase satisfaction, motivation, engagement and retention.
- Participate in any HR projects where necessary

**Background & Skills**:

- Grade 12
- VIP: SAGE Payroll System (preferable)
- Relevant Payroll / HR related qualification
- Valid Unendorsed Code EB Driver’s License (previously Code 08)
- Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office)
- Company policies and related legislation
- Approximately 2+ years in HR / Payroll environment
- Communicates effectively on all levels (verbal & written) high level of honesty and integrity
- High level of confidentiality and ethical decision-making
- Attention to detail
- Planning, organising, and prioritizing
- Strict adherence to time keeping /deadline driven
