What will you do?
The Head of Digital Banking and Partnerships is responsible for leading and managing the strategic digital banking partnership. This individual is tasked with leveraging technology and digital innovations to enhance the customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth in the digital banking space.
**The role responsibilities will include**:
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital banking partnership strategy aligned with the organisation's digital banking goals and objectives.
Assess this partnership i.t.o the strategic fit, market potential, and impact on the organisation's proposed digital banking offering
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the digital banking ecosystem.
Initiate and lead discussions with the digital banking partner to explore collaboration opportunities, negotiate agreements, and establish further mutually beneficial digital banking partnerships.
Drive the building of a digital banking partnership to start and scale up the business, collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, negotiate agreements, and ensure successful implementation of this partnership initiatives.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, e.g., product, compliance, legal, finance, marketing, etc. teams to execute digital banking partnership agreements and deliverables that are typically highly complex, strategic, and cross-functional.
Drive the implementation and integration of partner solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
Work closely with internal teams (Group and the partner organisation) including product development, marketing, operations, and technology, to align digital banking partnership initiatives with organisational goals.
Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional teams to implement digital banking partnership programmes and initiatives effectively.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on this partnership-related matters, including product integration, joint marketing activities, and customer onboarding processes.
Develop and maintain a robust reporting framework to track and evaluate the performance of the digital banking partnership initiatives.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive and senior management, highlighting key insights, achievements, and areas for improvement. What will make you successful in this role?
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field (postgraduate degree preferred).
Proven experience in digital banking, fintech, or related industries, with a focus on partnership development and management.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close partnership agreements, (including experience in contract negotiation and deal structuring).
Exceptional relationship management and communication capability, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven track record of successful digital banking partnership management and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Highly developed communication and presentation skills with a superior ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to leadership teams.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong knowledge of digital banking technologies, platforms, and emerging trends.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to digital banking and partnerships.
Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to assess market opportunities and develop effective digital banking partnership strategies. Qualification and Experience Degree with 10 to 12 years related experience.
