Manager - Digital & Social Media

**Job Purpose**:
Implement accurate and effective communication methods and activities on Cipla’s digital media platforms to ensure branding and increased visibility of the company in line with the communication & brand guidelines strategy

**Major Activities / Tasks**
- Design, develop and implement external communication content for the website and other Cipla channels to promote a favourable image of the company
- Conceptualize and generate content to ensure that the company and subsidiary websites are up-to-date and in sync with industry standards
- Implement & adhere to Corporate brand guidelines and Global Cipla brand policies
- Own and manage monthly social media content calendar, seeking full collaboration of various business units and incorporate these into a calendar
- Present and obtain content calendar approval from Lead of Content a month in advance of live dates
- Pre-schedule all posts within selected tool 1 month prior to go live
- Adhere to approvals process of content requiring medical, global or internal approval based on nature of content
- Work with Internal Agency Design team, to layout content posts according to their timeline requirements
- To create / update the Social Media Policy at regular intervals.
- Ensure that all medical and regulatory policies are adhered to, and documentation submitted timeously
- Community Management of Cipla Corporate & subsidiary digital pages
- Monitor and respond to all engagement and comments on web platforms within desired SLA and required turnaround times
- Facilitate the queries to relevant BUs where required and own the collection of information required to respond to comments
- Escalate potential engagement risks or commentary immediately to Content Lead within 2 hours of receipt Develop and maintain standard Cipla responses “bank"- Tactical Content Opportunities
- Embracing a journalistic approach to sourcing out key tactical content opportunities that can bring to life the Cipla values and Caring for Life ethos
- Responding to tactical content opportunities within 24-hour time period so as to leverage noteworthy opportunity & timings
- Drive the online communications strategy for Cipla through official Cipla channels
- Create and maintain official handles for Cipla on social media platforms to create brand awareness and promote engagements
- Online Reputation Management - Track / monitor / respond to queries posted online to build a strong brand image
- Maintain social media hygiene to keep a check on unrightful duplication of company presence.
- Supervise company official brand and campaign pages like Breathefree, Bronki Boosters, HIV etc. to drive a common communication message
- To report PV AEs to the Drug Safety Department.
- Ensure that all medical and regulatory policies are adhered to, and documentation submitted timeously
- Provide suggestion to Lead - Content and corporate communications on hiring relevant suppliers or which platforms to use for social media by performing manual checks, updates, background data analysis etc.
- Execute the digital strategy of the company to enhance brand awareness for the company
- Support the Lead - Content and corporate communications in developing the company’s digital infrastructure, including the company website and other Cipla campaign or product websites
Keep abreast of any potential uses of new technologies used in the industry/ by competitors and identify those that can be utilized to increase the company’s brand visibility across channels- Reporting
- Quarterly reporting on Cipla Corporate web traffic and engagement
- Quarterly social media reporting
- Sharing learnings, insights and new actions to take forward into upcoming months
- Present and socialise within Commercial & IA teams

Graduation/Post Graduation/Masters in Communication/ Journalism
**Relevant experience**:
Minimum 5 years of Digital Marketing / Corporate Communication experience
