Job Description
Responsible to manage industry related regulations, requirements, queries and ensuring business alignment to regulations and requirements.
All appointments will be made in line with the Bank’s Employment Equity plan
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that FNB positions are achieved on key related issues by ensuring relevant stakeholders are kept up to date on relevant industry issues, at all times, to make correct decisions. Experience should have been gained within a top-tier bank, acquirer, processor or a payment facilitator.
- Comply with governance in terms of legislative, regulatory and audit requirements. Ensure emerging legislation and changes in relevant regulations are appropriately interpreted for impact analysis, internal policies and practices are aligned.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience that exceeds customers' and stakeholders' expectations through proactive and appropriate solutions and communication.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external parties to support the sales strategy/Industry strategies (PASA/SARB/BASA)
- Manage Strategic Projects Industry - Coordinate and facilitate all approved strategic/compliance projects & work requests. Superior project management skills and fluent communicator.
- Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress. Results driven, flexible and both internally and externally customer focus.
Additional Requirements
- Creditability with clients, working teams and diplomatic skills to extract desired outcomes along with high level of comfort to senior management, Exco team and Corporate and Commercial teams within FNB as well as with the Associations, PASA & BankservAfrica.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter-disciplinary groups.
- Ongoing review of processes to identify possible innovation or required efficiencies
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma
- Degree
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the following areas: acquiring expertise, merchant solutions & processing expertise of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level.
