Role Overview We are searching for an experienced, highly driven Account Manager based in Johannesburg who has worked in either the Heavy Industry, Water, or Petrochem trade. Day‑to‑day you’ll report to the sales manager, who will aid your training and development. We also offer opportunities to move across functions and grow your career. Role Responsibilities Own the assigned territory, developing sales using all elements of our sales process to analyze, implement and control opportunities, and achieve target objectives. Build and nurture working relationships with partners, contractors, system integrators, and end users, managing and growing key products in the territory. Ensure appropriate coverage of both buying and potential customers within the customer platform, driving profitable growth. Demonstrate, service, train, and test Hilti products and gather market intelligence on competition, pricing, launches, seminars, outlets, quality issues, and product deliveries; report findings monthly. What You Need Is Completed degree or advanced diploma. Work experience in the Water, Petrochem, and/or Heavy Industry. Ability to thrive in a highly pressurized, performance‑driven environment. Proven track record in a technical sales role (advantageous). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Learning agility and a drive to meet performance targets. Problem‑solving skills with a solution‑oriented mindset. Strong business acumen and team‑oriented attitude. Willingness to go the extra mile.
