**Role Overview**:
As a Social Media Assistant, you will play an important role in our creative agency. Working closely with our Senior Social Media Manager, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop your skills in various aspects of social media management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Community Management:_ Assisting in engaging with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries across various social media platforms to build and maintain strong relationships with our audience.

Copywriting: Supporting the creation of compelling and on-brand content for social media posts, ensuring consistency in voice and messaging.
- Scheduling Content:_ Helping to plan and schedule social media posts using various tools to ensure timely and consistent content delivery across all platforms.
- Content Creation:_ Collaborating in the creation of engaging and creative content, particularly for TikTok, to enhance our social media presence and drive engagement.
- Reporting:_ Assisting in the collection and analysis of social media metrics to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve our social media strategies.
- Platform Navigation:_ Gaining familiarity and experience in managing content and engagement on Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in Community Management (Mainly Facebook and Instagram, however experience in X, LinkedIn and TikTok are beneficial)
- Exposure to social media management tools such as Sprout or Hootsuite
- Experience in filming TikTok Content.
- Comfortable using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Good writing and editing skills
- Good time management and communication skills
- Analytical skills to interpret social media data and metrics
- Creativity towards content creation and problem solving
- Diploma or higher in Marketing, Media or a related field

**Salary**: R15 000 - R20 000 commensurate with experience and Skill
