Compliance & Execution Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a systems-driven executor to oversee operational compliance, staff documentation, and service reporting across a health care-focused, high-accountability organisation. This role ensures that our people, files, processes, and support services are fully aligned with regulatory expectations and internal quality standards — every day, not just at audit time.

This is not a policy-making role. This is a performance role. If you are meticulous, assertive, and take pride in process integrity, this is your opportunity to own a critical function in a mission-led business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all onboarding documentation, contracts, background checks, and staff files are completed and submitted prior to service commencement
- Conduct weekly audits on team folders, participant records, shift logs, and service notes
- Enforce compliance standards for support reports, incident forms, goal tracking, and risk logs
- Maintain documentation systems, ensuring correct naming conventions, version control, and digital storage integrity
- Follow up directly with team members and supervisors to close compliance gaps
- Maintain a live breach and issue register and escalate unresolved risks to leadership
- Deliver a weekly compliance summary highlighting status, breaches, corrective actions, and structural gaps
- Support the development and deployment of updated templates, registers, and document workflows

IDEAL PROFILE
- Minimum 2 years' experience in compliance administration, HR documentation, quality assurance, or operational auditing
- Proven ability to work independently and enforce standards without supervision
- Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail and task closure
- Confident communicator who can follow up with clarity, structure, and professional assertiveness
- Digital literacy across cloud-based file management systems (Google Drive, equivalent)
- Background in health, care, education, or regulated environments preferred
- Understands the operational risks of poor documentation, and takes ownership of fixing them before they escalate

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- All staff and participant records fully compliant and up to date
- No shifts or services delivered without required documentation
- All breaches logged and resolved within designated timeframes
- Documents properly filed, version-controlled, and immediately accessible for audit
- Weekly compliance reporting submitted on time, with actionable insights
