You will be working as Service Team Leader and will be the part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Longmeadow, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Nico Lubbe and will be responsible for supervising a team of Service Engineers and Service Technicians and contributing to the execution of the service strategy and service growth by focusing on delivering timely, high-quality, cost effective service offerings, solutions and projects (e.g. field service, repair) for customers

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensuring planning and execution of various service activities carried out both off and on site, driving and monitoring service execution with respect to the agreed terms of schedule, quality, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction
- Allocating, driving and monitoring work to projects based on order content, delivery time, competencies and workload, effectively utilizing available resources through proper planning and scheduling to meet delivery targets (e.g. OTD, response time, ordered service offerings, update of installed based data)
- Ensuring work assignments are accurately classified as warrantee or non-warrantee status, ensuring that materials and components to feed service delivery are provided optimizing cost, stock and timing
- Collaborating within local service units and with other aervice teams to promote one ABB approach towards customers, building sustainable customer relationships to ensure local client growth, satisfaction and retention together with sales, driving consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback (Net Promoter Score (NPS))
- Ensuring compliance with group health, safety and environmental directives and ensuring instructions and regulations are implemented well within the team (including subcontractors), while monitoring and reporting progress and results, assessing risks and safety hazards and implementing actions to ensure people and equipment safety
- Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, resourced and supervised, ensuring all field service team members are certified in line with global certification and local regulations, reviewing competence levels to ensure each Service Engineer (including subcontractors) is appropriately qualified to handle jobs assigned to them

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- BTech or equivalent
- Minimum 3 -5 years of Field service management, electrical installation and commissioning experience, MV and LV experience and people management experience
- Fluency in English language is mandatory
