Boxer Superstores is a fast-growing supermarket chain, operating across all provinces in South Africa. Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking for **Retail Operations Regional Managers** to join our dynamic team across Limpopo and Gauteng.

**Job Overview**:
As a Retail Operations Regional Manager, you will oversee a region within your division, ensuring that sales targets, profit goals, operational procedures, and store standards are consistently met.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Education and Skills Requirements (Non-negotiables)**:

- **Matric** is essential; a relevant diploma or degree is advantageous.
- Minimum **5 years of food retail experience**.
- Minimum **5 years of management experience**.
- **Extensive knowledge of HR, IR, and labour policies**.
- A deep understanding of Boxer’s brand, values, vision, and culture.
- Proficient in relevant systems, processes, and products (e.g., Bomm).
- Strong knowledge of the retail organisational structure and business workflows.
- Ability to work with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including preparing reports and presentations.
- **Valid driver’s license** and willingness to travel extensively.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Management**: Identify internal and external sales opportunities and monitor department/category performance.
- **Store/Merchandise Management**: Evaluate the success of promotions and ensure the region achieves its sales budget.
- **Finance & Admin**: Monitor budgets, control expenses, and ensure financial accuracy.
- **People Management**: Train, coach, and mentor staff while focusing on succession planning for key roles.
- **Recruitment**: Authorize additional staffing as needed.
- **Discipline**: Chair and attend disciplinary enquiries.
- **Leadership**: Hold meetings with senior store staff and shop stewards.
- **OHS & Compliance**: Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
- **Customer Service**: Efficiently resolve customer queries.
- **Shrinkage Management**: Oversee shrinkage committees and implement security checks.
- **Replenishment**: Monitor stock ordering processes and address issues with suppliers.
- **Stockholding**: Ensure stock levels align with company targets.
