Cape Town, South Africa In The City Hospitality Full time

Currently seeking a Human Resources Manager for a leading Hospitality company based in Cape Town CBD.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Recognised HR Qualification with SENIOR or MID LEVEL HR Management experience, ideally within a Hotel / Hospitality related work environment
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a HR position
- Experience with payroll policies and procedures
- 4 years’ Pastel Payroll Experience
- 4 years’ Excel Experience
- Experience with UIF, Tax, PAYE and Skills Development Levy
- Strong knowledge of Labour Laws and practices, Payroll GL Journals and Reconciliations is essential
- Team Player - can communicate with all departments and contribute to the overall success of the Company
- Good planning and organisational skills essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Interpersonal and staff-facing skills
- Experience with Hospitality Health and Safety will be advantageous

RESPONSIBILITES:

- Organise and maintain personnel records
- Update Leave schedules (Annual, Sick, Maternity, Family etc.)
- Prepare HR Documents such as Employment Contracts, New Guide Hire & Training SOP’s
- Revise company policies
- Analysing and interpreting data to create reports and presentations on HR Metrics (eg. Timekeeping, Staff turnover etc)
- Managing recruitment selection and promotion processes
- Managing performance appraisals and yearly increase requirements
- Assist employees with HR related queries and requests
- Assist with payroll
- Assist with monthly EMP201
- Assist with mid year and yearly IRP5/IT3a submissions
- Assist with Shift rosters
- Arrange staff travel and process expense forms
- Participate in HR Projects
- Observe labour laws and Employment Legislation
- Being informed and keeping up with to date with South African Immigration laws
