**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

the induction of new sales hires and conduct regular field evaluations with all client-facing individuals

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Training facilitation will encompass both short, weekly in-office sessions as well as quarterly week-long away sessions. Delivering training in other global regions will also be required occasionally.
- Facilitation responsibilities will include supporting all sales and servicing managers to develop and deliver current, relevant sales-related training material - in classroom and virtual format. It also requires quarterly travelling to deliver training in the coastal regions, and globally when required.
- Work quarterly with all client-facing managers to develop an appropriate, customized training plan to meet the skills and knowledge needs of their teams. This involves carrying out skills gap assessments, working with competency metrics to match the appropriated training interventions, and reporting on training completed.
- Executing evaluations for all training programs and providing suggestions for improvements.
- Monthly Field Evaluations will require formal feedback and coaching with the individual and consolidated reporting and
- recommendations to the individuals’ manager.
- Participation in local and regional sales meetings to stay in touch with and to respond to business needs.
- Accountable for maintaining course costs, maximizing savings opportunities and working within a predetermined budget.
- Working as part of a virtual Global Sales Academy to share ideas, initiatives, best-practices and deliver on team objectives

**Job-related Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years in DSV
- Minimum 12-month commercial experience
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in oral and written English
- Excellent presentation skills & self confidence in presenting to groups (classroom and virtual)
- Customer Engagement Skills certificate (CES)
- Basic Accounting/Finance skills
- Well-developed inter-personal skills
- Understanding of supply chain management,
- Basic understanding of products and services across the supply chain (Group)
- Strong ability to manage disruptive classroom behavior and strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to learners and management
- Strong administration skills to plan, prepare before, during and after training activities
- Training experience in sales skills and/or sales systems
- Sales and sales management experience
- Additional South African languages (understood and spoken)
- Experience in coaching/mentoring of adult learners
- Experience in leveraging learning technologies to manage and coordinate training
- Completion of DSV Sales Programs (eg CES, Ignite, Dynamics)
- Willingness to participate in company activities (eg: Toastmasters, Lions Roleplays)

**Tertiary Qualification(s) - Essential**
- Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in Commerce or Marketing or
- Supply Chain/Logistics or similar stream

**Computer Literacy Level - Advanced**
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

**Additional Computer Skills**
- Knowledge of DSV systems an advantage
